My page has been down the whole day because of my web host upgrading their servers. A bit frustrating considering that they said it would only take 45 minutes. Now it seems to be working though, and I hope it will stay this way.

I got 6 of my 12 ordered records from Amazon today, so far I’m very satisfied with my choices!

I am back in Vienna after a fantastic week in the alps. We were really lucky with the weather and the snow was great, except for our last day when it had been a little too warm during the night. I skied everyday together with Julia, Michi and Anschi, and here is a picture collage of our adventures. The question is, can you find the schnitzel?

Three days and not a cloud in the sky, we really are lucky with the weather. They say the third day is the hardest, but I would say the second, yesterday I really was tired. Speaking of tired, I’ve been totally wasted every evening and have gone to bed around 10pm, I wonder when that happened last time? Oh, and the sun together with the snow really are strong, yesterday I looked like a tomato when I got home. Todays theme: sun blocker.

First ski day over. My legs are tired and I hope they will allow me to get out of bed tomorrow. I’m stunned by how beautiful it is here, it’s unbelievable! My mobile camera is really bad, but I hope you see what I mean!

I were playing in Wels yesterday, was a lot of fun! I don’t have time to write about it right now, but hopefully I’ll tell you about it in a week or so, since I’m leaving for the alps and Maria Alm tomorrow morning. Don’t think I’ll have access to a computer (which feels kind of nice), but will probably send some posts from my mobile phone. See you!

1. The virus that infected my computer yesterday.
2. The 6 hours I spent trying to remove it.
3. The moment I realized it won’t be done.
4. The time I used backing up everything of importance.
5. My lack of sleep sitting half the night formatting the hard drive and reinstalling Windows XP.
6. My destroyed next day setting up the computer, downloading a few years of Microsoft Updates, etc etc.

This post’s title is the slogan of really nice site Killerchops.tv, which I stumbled upon today. They collect music videos, and you can find everything from jazz, rock, funk or soul to humor and instructional videos. So far I have mostly checked out the jazz archive, but I must say it looks promising. Take a look for yourself!

I couldn’t resist, I placed another order at Amazon. But to my defense, with the dollar so low right now, it would be stupid not to! :) These records together with my last order, forecasts a really nice spring for Jens.

Since I’m currently living in Austria, and since I’ve always been a sucker for skiing, it would be stupid not to visit the alps while I’m here. So, on Saturday a week from now, me and Julia will tag along with her family to Maria Alm, where we will stay for a week, and as you can see on the pictures, it seems to be a beautiful place!

I haven’t been skiing for about eight years though, and because of this I had to go out shopping some proper clothes. Pretty fast I came to the conclusion that skiing clothes are expensive. Very expensive! I’ll better not wait eight more years before I ski again, or this trip, with lift cards and stuff like that included, will probably top my most expensive week of all time-list.

Anyway, to once again keep mum calm, to the left is the result of my shopping tour. I think this is enough to keep me warm.
